Nominees:

Natalie Aldrich

I am once again interested in the USASA Riders Representative position. I have held this position before; during 2008-2009 season. I feel like I was able to contribute a good amount by being present on most Executive Board conference calls, attending the Fall Summit, and attending Nationals during that year. I have also been active in USASA for several years. This year, I have been working closely with the USASA PacSun team, their sponsors, and events. I have been competing in boardercross, have been active as a coach, and have previously held the position of USASA All American Team Coordinator. I have been attending Nationals in different capacities for 5 straight years now! I believe that I would be a good candidate for this position based on my passion for the sport and the athletes, active involvement with USASA, and past riders representative position. I am looking forward to seeing and meeting you all at Nationals!

Mike Trapp a.k.a. "Trappy"

Hey everyone.  I am a current USASA Rider’s Representative, and I am asking for your vote again this year.  I have made it a point to listen in on nearly all of the conference calls, making sure the decisions made we’re not only in USASA’s best interest, but your's as well.  I have been competing in USASA since 1998, and have competed in all 5 events, though I mainly focus on GS and Slalom now.  For the past 4 seasons I have been training in Steamboat Springs, CO with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club.  I was a member of the USASA All-American Team in 2006 and a member of the PacSun Team in 2008, 2010.  I compete full-time on the Nor-Am tour, but I also compete in Europa Cup and World Cup events.  USASA has been a big part of my success as a rider, and that is why I continue to compete in USASA events.  I hope to be able to represent you again this year!  Thanks for your vote.

Madeline “Mimi” Wiencke

Hi my name is Madeline “Mimi” Wiencke. I am currently a USASA Riders’ Representative, and I am hoping you will vote for me to represent you again this year! I have been competing with USASA since 1997 and have attended every National Championships since Telluride in 1998. As a member of the USASA Pac Sun Team for the last 3 years, I have established close friendships with competitors in all of the USASA disciplines, and will actively listen to the concerns and suggestions of both racers and freestylers alike. I am very grateful and proud to have grown up through this great organization, and would love to have the opportunity to continue giving back and to help ensure that others get to have the same kind of positive experiences with it that I have been lucky enough to have.

Scott Sombers

I should be elected because I have been snowboarding for 18 years. I love the USASA organization and would like to offer my time to help the athletes continue to advance. I am commited to snowboarding would offer my experience in this position.

Thank You

John Graham

Hey Riders!   I am running to be your USASA Riders Representative.  The Graham family, Father and  Son, is two generations of riding and racing input to the USASA.  We are 'new school' freestylers and alpine racers currently based out of West Point, NY.  As a military family we have been stationed and competed in your communities across the U.S. in North Carolina, Ohio, Colorado, Pennsylvania & New York. I gravitated to USASA because it is the only sport where every athlete encourages their competitors to give it their all.  We believe USASA should continue to be all about positive competition, grassroots advancement, family environment and safety/technical development.   We will actively seek your ideas while keeping it real for you, the extreme sport athletes of USASA!
