Ski Nationals SlopestyleToday was the 2nd day of Skier Nationals with all venues full of competitors and sun! The Halfpipe hosted 67 competitors ages 12 and under, with many of them pulling off tricks well above the deck. One of the highlights of Halfpipe was  6-year-old Estelle Pultar, our youngest competitor in the pipe today,  competing against several girls older than her, and totally pulling her weight with a 5th place finish!

Our 13 to 18-year-olds were up the mountain at SkierCross, where many parents took the pedestrian shuttle to watch. This ended up being our largest venue today with 80 competitors! At slopestyle were our oldest and most competitive athletes. The course was modified prior to today’s competition which was “beneficial to the athletes” says Greg Flowers, venue manager.

We are looking forward to another successful day for Day 3, which also happens to be the last day of Skier Nationals!
