The form includes all the rules for applying for a scholarship.
NOTE FOR SKIERS: You can turn in your Scholarship as late as April 8th, the first competition day for Skiing.
Scholarship winners will need to create their own Educational Savings Accounts if they are not able to determine a use for their award within 6 months. Follow the links below to learn more about setting up an ESA.
Awards are processed by the National office and will be disbursed in the following manner:
- At Nationals, submit to the Scholarship table at registration in writing the name of the school, camp or coaching program that the award should be made payable to including the name and social security number of the recipient.
- Within 6 months after Nationals, submit to the National Office in writing the name of the school, camp or coaching program that the award should be sent to including the name and social security number of the recipient or the name of the Education Savings Account into which your funds should be deposited including the name and social security number of the participant and the name and address of the bank to which the check should be sent for deposit.
- No awards are processed to individuals (except Home School).
- All scholarships must be collected within 6 months. Scholarships not collected within 6 months will revert to the USASA Foundation to be awarded again.
