You know your start time, you get your practice runs and in a flash 2011 Nationals has flown by. Have you ever stopped and wondered how this all happens? Day 2 of USASA Nationals saw some incredible riding. Here’s some highlights.
April 4, 2011 – Corona, CA – Monster Energy announces the second annual Monster Mash Invitational Pipe Jam on Tuesday, April 5 at 5 pm (practice at 4 pm) at the USASA National Championships held at Copper Mountain, CO featuring the United States largest and most coveted amateur national snowboard event.
The grassroots annual event stands as the main attraction to the week-long snowboard nationals event at Copper Mountain that takes place April 2 – 8, and is the forum to showcase snowboardingʼs future champions.
Over 1,600 athletes battled more than six inches of fresh powder to compete in the first day of USASA National Championships at Copper Mountain, CO. Snowboarders ranging form six years old to well past their sixties came together to compete in slopestyle, halfpipe, boardercross, giant slalom and slalom.
