Renew your membership today for the upcoming winter season and join us at Big Mountain West Snowboard & Freeski Series. If you are not a member and are interested in becoming a part one of the regions of USASA which organizes fun, safe and fair competition opportunities for snowboarders and freeskiers from the ages of under 6 years old and up, join today. You will meet athletes and develop friendships as a member of USASA. Join our community of athletes, teams/coaches and families who compete together in resorts in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming.
How to qualify for USASA Nationals?
Qualify through this region as the first place overall qualifier in each discipline, or by attending multiple events and accumulating enough points to place you on the National Ranking list to earn additional allocated invitations. No Point events do not contribute to National Rankings points. Please see the Rankings and Nationals info on the USASA homepage. www.usasa.org

Welcome to the Big Mountain West / Intermountain Snowboard Series, formerly known as the Intermountain Snowboard Series. The Big Mountain West Snowboard Series mission is to promote snowboarding of all abilities and foster friendly, safe competition within the surrounding regions of Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFICATIONS WILL BE BASED ON THE USASA NATIONAL RANKING SYSTEM IN ADDITION TO THE OUTRIGHT WINNERS IN EACH SERIES IN EACH DISCIPLINE, AGE GROUPING, AND SEX. To compete at any of these events you must be a USASA member. It is best to register ONLINE prior to arrival to any event, and always bring a printed copy of your confirm registration, your waiver and proof of paid membership!!!! Competitors under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian signature and proof of insurance.
HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL EVENTS.
Skiers will be allowed in all our regional 2013-2014 Freestyle events (Slopestyle, Halfpipe and Boardercross). The ONLY events that do not permit skiers in our series are Alpine SL & GS.
- ALWAYS BE SURE TO READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ALL THE INFORMATION REGARDING EVENTS HERE, AND SPECIFICALLY UNDER EACH VENUE HEADING BELOW.
- ALWAYS CHECK THIS SITE THE EVENING BEFORE, FOR ANY LAST MINUTE CHANGES DUE TO VARIOUS CIRCUMSTANCES.
- ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT SERIES - We offer on-line registration for our event schedule. Once our schedule is confirmed this fall, and on-line registration is available, we will post that all events are open for on-line registration. Registration for each event closes on Sunday night / week of the event - these dates will be posted on the event schedule in September.
Event registration will stay open for this period...or until an individual event discipline day hits its maximum on-line competitor field size. The limit is set at 120 per day Slopestyle, and 95 for Halfpipe events.

DAY OF REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE AS LONG AS EVENT HAS NOT BEEN FILLED IN ON-LINE REGISTRATION. ON-LINE REGISTRATION IS RECOMMENDED TO INSURE A CONFIRMATION IN THE EVENT. EVENTS WHICH ARE SOLD OUT WILL BE NOTED ON LINE IMMEDIATELY UPON EVENT CAP BEING MET.
*ONE DAY MEMBERSHIPS - are only available at Registration / Day of Event if space is available at Event. If Event is sold out and noted on this site/ there will be no additional
Day of Event Registration available. In full events, a lottery may be available for additional spots in the event - this information will be posted on this site.
You cannot purchase a one day membership on-line!
If you want to become a member the day of event for a one day membership, we can assist at the registration table, but recommend that whenever possible you register on-line for your full membership. Remember that one day memberships do not accrue points for Nationals!
Lift Tickets - Any lift ticket qualifications or opportunities for certified USASA coaches who meet the ratio requirements of # of riders per coach will be posted the week prior to each event. These lift ticket privileges will vary per event this season due to limitations we are given by each resort.
If you are interested in assisting as a starter or other key event position not requiring additional certification, and are a USASA coach, please contact the Series Director or Technical Supervisor. Lift Ticket, Lunch available for key positions.
