February 25, 2013. Bondville, Vermont. The United States of America Snowboard Association (USASA) is launching the organization’s 25th Anniversary Fundraising Campaign today. The goal of the campaign is to raise $250,000 by the end of the year to fund The USASA Foundation.
Funds raised through the year-long campaign will be used to further the mission of The USASA Foundation: The USASA Foundation’s mission is to create grant programs that will benefit talented athletes, officials, coaches and series directors to further enhance the sports of snowboarding and freeski in accordance with USASA core values.

(SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, CA. October 25, 2012) The United States of America Snowboard Association (USASA) has named Peter Miller Davis of Jericho, Vermont as the new Executive Director of the organization. Mr. Davis was named after a nationwide search took place over the summer. He will be based out of the USASA office in Northern Vermont, effective November 1. This change comes after the decision by Jason Toutolmin to resign from the Executor Director position and become the USASA’s full time Marketing and IT Director.

(South Lake Tahoe, CA 5/30/12) USASA is proud to announce the 2012-2013 USASA Snowboard Team. Athletes were selected based on their results from the USASA National Championships at Copper Mountain, Colorado as well as their results throughout the season. They represent the best amateur riders in the country and will act as the ambassadors for the United States of America Snowboard Association for the upcoming season.

The USASA Foundation is pleased to announce that 25 grants will be issued under The Nationals Assistance Award for the 2012 winter season.The Foundation was originally planning to distribute $6,000 in awards during this inaugural year, but because we received additional last-minute donations from Allisports (Dew Tour/Gatorade Freeflow Tour), Bomber Skis and other anonymous donors, we were able to double the number of athletes being supported this season.

(South Lake Tahoe, CA 3/10/12) The United States of America Snowboard Association (USASA) proudly announces the 2012 Chuck Allen Scholarship program as well as a new grant program created by the USASA Foundation to provide funds for athletes attending Nationals.
Each year USASA members who qualify for the National Championships can apply for The Chuck Allen Scholarship by completing the application requirements posted on usasa.org. The applicants are evaluated for various criteria including transcripts, letters of recommendation, and snowboarding results. The scholarships awarded can range from $100 to $1,000 and can be used for any accredited school or institute of learning, coaching program or snowboard/ski camp. Beginning this year, Scholarships will only be awarded to those in the 6th grade or higher.
