The Burton Experience Presents Lil’ Rascals Rail Jam

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Burton Experience SnowboardingSouth Lake Tahoe, CA – March 10, 2012 –  On April 2, 2012 during the 23rd Annual USASA National Championships  snowboarders ages 9 and under will have the chance to compete in this premier rail jam event, presented by Burton Experience. The goal will be to foster the spirit of snowboarding within young riders by letting them compete against boarders of a similar age and skill level.

USASA team manager Miah Wheeler: “This is the first event of its kind. Instead of throwing all the riders together in a rail jam, Burton and USASA wanted this early age group to be able to have an event they could call their own.” The rail jam will allow riders, 9 and under, to session the park in open jam format and prizes will be awarded in categories such as best trick, style, and personal creativity.
