The 2013 USASA National Championships Competition Groups and Event Schedules are now posted. Field sizes are coming soon, but there have been so many requests (5 -10 every day) for the schedule, I wanted to get this up as soon as possible.
The ‘Lil Rascals Rail Jams have been a great success with young snowboarders at the two locations where they have been held so far this winter. Presented by the USASA with support from Burton Snowboards, the two jams that have take place this season have been a hit with kids and parents in attendance. The first Jam took place in Colorado in early December as part of the USASA Rocky Mountain Series at the Frisco Adventure Park.
The second event was presented at the Jay Peak Resort in northern Vermont. Thanks to the resort’s close proximity to Quebec, the event featured an international flavor, with kids speaking English and French with their new buddies and instructors throughout the Saturday morning event.
USASA wants to hear from YOU! Please take a moment to give us some feedback regarding all things USASA. We have created this survey in order to improve our organization all-round, from regional series to the national level. Remember that this organization revolves around our athletes, and that we need to input of our membership to identify what we are doing well and what we need improvement on.
What do you get out of the deal, you ask? Following the conclusion of the survey, USASA will draw for a GO PRO CAMERA from all survey respondents who choose to include their name. Survey closes Tuesday, December 4th at 6:00pm central time! We are looking forward to hearing from you!
A quick reminder that time is running out to request your 2012 USASA SCHOLARSHIP AWARD! The deadline of September 1st is fast approaching so don’t be left out! Request your scholarship award ASAP!

Congratulations to Rocky Mountain Series rider Jimmy Simon, winner of a 150 Never Summer EVO in the January Membership drawing.
Jimmy competes in the Legend class and has been a member of the USASA for over 15 years, an all around shreder in disciplines. Jimmy's goal this year is to win the triple overall.
We wish him the best of luck and he couldn't be more prepared to slay the freestyle events on his new EVO, designed for optimum freestyle control, and a buttery fun and playful ride. Never Summers EDS damping system provides high-speed stability not usually found in a park/pipe board, while maintaining a light and lively ride.
Watch out, Jimmy's got one mean shred stick to back his play!
155 CM's of Colorado Pure Park magic will soon be under Clayton Trombley's feet as he slays each and every feature the Northern Vermont Series throws at him!
Congratulation's Clayton, November's Membership Drive winner. We're drawing aboard a month and December's winner will be riding on Never Summer SL, their all terrain, all condition ride and most popular deck.
Best of luck this season Clayton! We hope to see you at the National Championship this coming April at Copper Mountain.
