The Heath Jackson show opened a couple of seasons ago to rave reviews. Saturday at a site to be determined.
Jackson completed 18 of 23 passes Saturday without an interception. He spread the ball around, hitting six receivers,http://tony.jjl.cn/index.php?doc-view-4383. Alex Weber was his main target; Weber caught seven passes for 186 yards.
"Our receivers run some nice routes," Ada coach Mike Fell said. "We've got some receivers who can catch the ball and they made some excellent catches,http://www.tryinformal.eu/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=post&do=new&Itemid=69.
"We were happy we were able to execute like that."
Cory-Rawson (7-4) came out strong. The Hornets forced an Ada three-and-out to open the game and John Anderson, cheap michael kors, the Blanchard Valley Conference player of the year, clicked off runs of 23 and 7 yards to put the ball on Ada's 43. A fourth-down run by Anderson fell short, however, and the Hornets turned the ball over on downs.
Jackson wasted no time, running 40 yards on a quarterback draw. Tyler Simmons ran for an 8-yard touchdown two plays later to give Ada an 8-0 lead.
Cory-Rawson's next drive stalled deep in Ada territory when Jackson forced a fumble by freshman quarterback Tyler Harris. Cory-Rawson coach Andy Schafer said the two early giveaways were costly.
"That definitely hurt, that's a momentum changer," Schafer said. "We told our kids earlier the week, the regular season's done,www.hboexamens.nl/index.php/forum/nieuw-...13-hogeschool-leiden. A lot of time you're playing weaker teams and you can get away with that stuff. But this is a playoff game and you have to focus on every down."
Ada followed the turnover with a six-play 88-yard drive. Jackson capped with a 13-yard sweep around right end, and the Bulldogs were rolling.
Ada also scored on its next three possessions, getting touchdowns from Simmons on a 4-yard run, Jackson on a 7-yard run and Simmon on a 15-yard catch.
Ada ticked off several big plays in building a 37-0 halftime lead. Weber had catches of 41 and 42 yards on middle screens and Matt McBride added receptions of 42 and 29 yards.
"Matt McBride, Ty Joliff, Conner Baker, Alex Weber, michael kors uk, - all four of those guys, when we get the ball out there they're going to make the catch," Fell said.
Schafer was certainly impress with Ada's passing attack.
"We had defensive backs inches away from making a play a lot of times," he said. "How do you tell you defensive backs they're doing a bad job? They're covering their receivers. They're receivers are good, they make catches,http://inandafm.co.za/forum/newtopic.html.
Cory-Rawon kept plugging away and was rewarded with a touchdown to open the second half. Anderson, who rushed for 1,083 yards and 16 touchdowns during the regular season, scored on a 2-yard run to cap a nine-play, 42-yard drive.
"John has carried us this far," Schafer said. "We got that close, on the 2-yard line, everybody in the world knew that John Anderson was going to get the ball and he still fought hard to get in."
Anderson finished with 136 yards on 32 carries despite being the focus of Ada's defense.
"He was the guy, we knew Anderson was the key to their offense and we gave him a lot of respect,Michael Kors purse," Fell said.
Kellen Decker and Jackson rushed for touchdowns of 1 and 11 yards, cheap michael kors, respectively, to give Ada a 51-7 lead. The Hornets got a late touchdown from Ben Niese on a 10-yard run.
Schafer said the playoff experience was huge for a team that started the season 0-2.
"This is big for our school, michael kors uk, we went 3-7 the past couple years in a row," Schafer said. "For us to turn the program in one year, I have to credit the seniors. Things are headed in the right direction. I've seen huge improvements every week. "We'll be back, there's no question,http://www.tryinformal.eu/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=post&do=new&Itemid=69."
