TOPIC: Non Mountain associated team

Non Mountain associated team 5 years, 5 months ago #30

  • trickthat
I have a coach that wants to break a part of our mountain's freestyle team off seperately in order to take the more serious riders to the next level. No one I know of in our area has done this kind of thing and I want to help the coach figure out what he will need from a legal stand point to make it work. Anyone out there who can help us? I think this will be good for the kids but want to help the coach with CYA on things like insurance, liability and workman's comp. I had a form 2 years ago for USASA that allowed teamms to be covered for training under the USASA insurance policy for this type of situation, but I can't find it this year.
Cheers,
Tom

Look under the officials tab, under coaches. The Team sanctionaing agreement and insurance paperwork is in there.

What region are you in?

Western NY. I missed the team sanctioning agreement one and only saw the region directors one.
