The 2017 USASA National Championships will score the Open Class Skiercross races as a FIS race.  The dual sanctioning of these OPEN Class events represents a cooperative effort between the USASA, the USSA and Copper Mountain Resort. An international roster of athletes is expected to compete at the events. 

ALL competitors will recieve a 7 of 10 day lift ticket for Copper Mountain with their entry fee, which also includes the official training day.  This will allow every competitor to ride 7 days out of 10 starting on April 1st, 2017.

Up to $10,000 of prize money is available to be awarded for the 2017 USASA National Championships Open Class events. Prize purse is based, by gender on the number of competitors in the field of the discipline. 

Entry Procedure

Existing USASA Members who have qualified via participation Regional Series events

• Invitations will be sent via the normal USASA Invitation Process
• Entries will begin processing on March 15th, 2017

New Domestic USASA Members

• Must join the USASA as an OPEN CLASS competitor at www.usasa.org
  • $100 Membership Fee
  • Must hold a FIS license

• Once requested invitation is approved, the Invitation will be sent via the normal USASA Invitation Process
  • Entry Fee $325 (first event)
    • $30 each additional event

Foreign Entries

• Must hold a FIS license
• Must forward member nations FIS inscription to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for each specific event (SX) 
• Once recieved and approved, competitors will be added to the events
  • $35 Foreign Entry Fee (* will not score USASA National Points)
  • $325 Event Entry Fee
    • $30 each additional event
• Entries will begin processing on March 15th, 2017
• Registration will open on March 31st at 12:00 pm for foreign SX competitors to pay their entry fee's "on-site" at Copper Mountain
