The first stop of the 2023 Futures Tour kicked off at Mount Snow, VT this week ushering in the next generation of freeski and snowboard talent. Conor Cavanagh, Ty Szigeti, Eleanor Andrews and Kiara Murphy all took home top honors in the freshly built Carinthia Park.

Wednesday was dedicated to the snowboard athletes with Conor Cavanagh, Connor Kelly, LJ Henriquez, Noah Avallone all pushing the level of men’s riding with back-to-back 900s, double corks and solid rail sections. The W belonged to Connor Cavanagh who stomped a double 900 on his last run earning a 92.75 just edging out fellow Southern Vermont Series rider Connor Kelly by .75. But the day belonged to Southern Vermont Series’ Ty Szigeti who came out ahead less than a point ahead of Big Mountain West freeskier Sean Jensen. Bronze went to the Mt.
