Footy Fest is coming up this Saturday at the Hollywood Theatre in Ausable Forks, NY.  Doors open at 6:30 - show at 7pm.  Tickets are $5 at the door and all proceeds go towards Nationals hoodies for our ADK series reps.  Come check out what our local filmers have to offer and see who takes home the top prize.

Thank you everyone for a great 6th ADK season!  I know as soon as the snow is gone I'll be looking forward to next season and planning to make our 7th one the best year yet!

Series Background

The Adirondack Series was resanctioned beginning with the 2006-2007 season thanks to the cooperation of our founding partners:

NYSEF(New York Ski Education Foundation), National Sports Academy, ORDA(Olympic Regional Development Authority), Whiteface and Titus Mountains, and North Country Community College.  We are now in our 6th year and proud to work with our current host resorts; Whiteface Mt., North Creek Ski Bowl/Gore, Mt Pisgah, and West Mt.

Competitor Information

Please read your rulebook (available online at www.usasa.org), especially the disqualification and protest rules before you compete. Helmets are required at all times as are properly worn bibs for both training and competition.   The following events are for both skiers and snowboarders.

SS - Slopestyle - Competitors are scored by a panel of judges on a course consisitng of jumps and rails. The best of two runs counts for their final score.

RJ - Railjam - A judged event based on open "jam" format. Age groups are 13 & under, 14 & over, and Open for both ski & snowboard, male & female.  New for 2011/12 - THIS WILL BE A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT!

BX/SX - Boardercross/SkierCross - Each athlete gets one timed run to establish seeding for the race followed by racing in heats of up to four.  If there are more than four athletes in an age group the top two finshers advance to the next round and the bottom two drop out until the final race.

EMPIRE STATE GAMES INFO - The Games have moved to Feb 2-5th 2012 and we have added slopestyle for both ski & snowboard! For qualifying criteria and more info go to empirestatewintergames.com . This is a no-points event.

See registration below for resort/event specific rules.

How do I Qualify for Nationals?

Winners of each age division(season-long) are automatically qualified for nationals. If you are not first but have accumulated enough Nationals points based on your best three finishes in the respective discipline compared to the rest of the country you may receive an invite as well.
