1/21/10 Registration forms are available at http://www.tyrolbasin.com/freestylers--racers-usasa/ . Please fillout the forms in advance and if possible drop them off at Tyrol by Thursday night. Otherwise, they can be FAXed to me at 608-676-5229 before 5pm on Friday. Any forms I receive prior to Saturday will greatly help speed up the registration process. Spread the word and get all your friends to come out and compete or support you.

1/19/10 The first weekend of comps will be this weekend. Halfpipe and Boardercross/Skiercross on Saturday and Slopestyle, Slalom & Giant Slalom on Sunday. Online registration is not set up yet so we will be utilizing paper forms for this first weekend. Forms will be available on the Tyrol Basin website, www.tyrolbasin.com and at customer service. Fees for this year are 1 event $25, 2 events $35, 3 events $45, 4 events $55, 5 events $60. USASA full, one day,or trial membership is required. We have great national sponsors like Dakine, Cholula, Monster, Skullcandy, and Windells as well as regional sponsors including FOX, RIDE, Thirty-Two, Etnies, Pro-Tec, Focus Snow & Skate, Railyard Rails and the Board Shop. Awards and prizes will be given out on Sunday after the competitions. We are working to streamline all aspects of the registration and competition as well as keep the events fun. All snowboarders are encouraged to competed in all five disciplines and skiers are encouraged to compete in Pipe, Slope, & Skiercross. Overall series champions will receive a bid to USASA Nationals at Copper Mountain, CO.

1/19/10 We have worked out a special deal with Railyard Rails to make their products available at a reduced price for Tyrol competitors. We will have a demo rail at our events. They have a great product and they are a midwest company out of Marquette, MI. We will have additional details available at the events.

10/18/09 All snowboarders and skiers (all ages and abilities) are welcome to come out and get involved in the USASA Series at Tyrol Basin! Please sign up for your annual membership on-line at www.usasa.org before your first event. Our first event will be on Januray 23 & 24, 2010 - Halfpipe, Boardercross and Skiercross on Saturday and Slopestyle, Giant Slalom and Slalom on Sunday. Please check our schedule of events for the list of competitions. Both boarders and skiers can compete in the freestyle and boardercross events.

11/7/09 All the events have been posted on the USASA website. Online registration is going to be utilized for the first time this year. This will streamline registration on the mornings of the events and hopefully get us on the hill earlier. This year, we are holding three events in each of the five disciplines. There will be three weekends of competition. Our overall series winners in each age group will be determined utilizing the best two out of three scores. All three scores can be utilized in acheiving a National Ranking. Remember - Snowboarders can compete in all five disciplines and skiers are encouraged to compete in Halfpipe, Slopestyle, and Skiercross.
