Middle Earth Snow Series continues to bring you freestyle ski and snowboard events at the Top Rated Resorts in all of Michigan: Boyne Mountain, Boyne Highlands, Nub's Nob, Otsego Club and our NEW Event Just Added MARQUETTE MOUNTAIN!  Middle Earth Snow Series is boosting this year at Otsego Club Resort:

Otsego Club Resort is HOME to a huge 22' Superpipe! The only Olympic sized 22' pipe east of the Rockies and one of only 5 others in North America.  This winter if you come out to the O-Park at OC you can ride with some of the best snowboarders in the world training in the monster pipe for the 2010 Olympics held in Vancouver, BC~ See www.otsegoclub.com for updates and more info! Come train in the same size pipe that will be at our 2010 USASA National Championships! Competitor Information

The Middle Earth Snow Series covers Michigans lower peninsula above the 45th parallel and welcomes all Freestyle skiers and snowboarders. Helmets are required for all events and all USASA rules apply. All competitors under 18 must have a parent/guardian signature. A USASA competition membership is required, fees are $75  for an annual membership or $25 for a daily membership.  All competitors must join USASA in order to compete. Cost for Each Event is $25/event + lift ticket. We welcome all visitors from other series-please have your USASA membership card present at time of check in. Check the USASA web site for more information. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL EVENTS and a VALID Lift ticket must be purchased at the resort! Age groups for men and woman from under 7 to over 60. CHECK RESORT WEBSITES FOR LIFT TICKET PRICES. Great Products Raffle & Awards will follow immediately after the competition results are tabulated.

How do I Qualify for the Nationals?

TO QUALIFY FOR THE USASA 2010 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS at Copper Mountain, Colorado YOU MUST:

  • Be pre-qualified from last years national event (took 1st place at the Nationals 2009)
  • Take top overall points in your age division for a discipline.

More invites will go out based on your National Rankings-these are awarded by the USASA National Office by email only! Be sure I have your correct email on file!
