Telluride Events

Giant Slalom amd Slalom #3 will both happen on Saturday 2/20 in Telluride. Registration will be from 8:00 - 9:30 at the Telluride Ski and Snowboard Club office at the base of Chair 7 in Telluride.
Slopestyle #3 is Sunday. Registration will be same place and same time.

2010 Series Schedule

the 2009 Southwest Colorado Series was a huge success and I am excited to build on that energy from last year. Thanks to all the riders and skiers who were part of the series last year and I look forward to watching you throw down this winter.

January 9 - Superpipe - Crested Butte

January 10 - Slopestyle - Crested Butte

February 20 - Giant Slalom and Slalom - Telluride

February 21 - Slopestyle - Telluride

March 12 - Superpipe - Crested Butte

March 13 - BX - Crested Butte

Competitor Information

HELMETS REQUIRED FOR ALL EVENTS
Skiers are welcome to compete in the Slopestyle, Superpipe, and Boardercross events.
Age groups for men and women of ALL AGES. under 6-over 60

How do I Qualify for the Nationals?

To qualify for the USASA 2009 National Championships, TO BE HELD AT COPPER MTN, COLORADO, you must:

Be pre-qualified from last year (took 1st place at last years Nationals)
Earn top overall SW Series points in your age division for a discipline.
Earn an invitation through the National ranking system. (please contact me if you have questions about the National rankings)

Event Information

Cost is $28 per alpine event and $32 for
Competitor lift tickets run $35 a day.
Family tickets run $50 a day.
We run 2 events per day for Alpine events.
All Competitions start at 11:00 a.m.

Registration Information

All Competitors must join the USASA
REGISTRATION IS OPEN FROM 8:00 - 9:30 AM
REGISTRATION is in the Adventure Center in Mountaineer Square
If you are under 18 a Parent or Guardian must be present at registration to sign the waivers

Coaches Notices

ATTENTION COACHES! According to last years rule change, you must be a certified USASA coach to be allowed access to contest venues and free lift tickets at USASA events, including Nationals. Level 1 USASA coaches certification clinic will be held in Crested Butte, CO on December 2 &3. Please contact Christian for more information.
