News

The Copper Series is now the Rocky Mountain Series.

The 2009 - 2010 USASA Rocky Mountain Series competition schedule is now posted.  Go to www.rockymountainseries.com to check it out!

This years Rocky Mountain Series schedule features 3 Freestyle (HP & SS), 3 Alpine (GS & SL) and 4 Boardercross / Skier Cross competitions for USASA National Points to qualify you for the National Championships in April to be held again this year at Copper.  We'll be using the same qualification format as last season to determine the series champions and national rankings for each discipline.  What a great opportunity in your own backyard!

We'll also be hosting some pipeline events with the Revolution Tour and the FIS NorAM Boardercross & SkierCross once again making a stop at Copper, providing you with an opportunity to see where you stand against a national and international field.

Registration for the upcoming season will open on October 15th, 2009 and as always registration for Rocky Mountain Series competitions is available only online and closes at Midnight Pacific Standard Time the Wednesday evening before an event.

The posted 09/10 schedule is tentative and may be subject to change.

Be pre-qualified from last year (took 1st place at last years Nationals) and compete in at least 1/2 of this seasons Copper Series events
OR
Win the overall points champioship in your age division for a single discipline. This means you can qualify for National Championship in a single single discpline such as Half Pipe, or SlopeStyle, or Giant Salom, or Slalom, or BoarderCross®.
All other National Championship spots will be awarded via the National Ranking System.
