Copper Mountain, CO March 28-April 5, 2008

4/5/08 9:15am
It's over! What an awesome week. Our ISP was down yesterday until this morning, so I am just now getting the last of the results posted.
Scholarships are now posted as well, check them out here !
3/26/08 9:00pm
I am going to get some sleep, have to leave at 4am tomorrow to get out to Copper. I will be traveling most of the day, so if you have any issues with the start list send me an email and be patient, I will respond when I get to Copper and have an internet connection.
Woo hoo, finally going to Copper! Stop by and say hello in registration if you get a chance!
4:00pm
Well, it took all day, but all final startlists are now posted and you can download them and print them out now! Remember to do this before you leave because we will not have copies to give out at Nationals other than for coaches, Technical Supervisors, etc. They will be posted in many places so you don't need to have a set but if you want them they are here for you.
12:08am Registration is now officially closed! I will pull all the registration information from the MemberPro system in the morning and get start lists built and posted as soon as possible. There is no way to get added in now, so please do not ask, registration ran for 15 days and anyone that had issues and contacted us was helped as quickly as possible and registered successfully. I will have the total number in the morning, but I believe it is around 1,615 registered competitors! That is over 100 more than last year... it is going to be big!
3/25/08 Today is the final day of registration. At midnight tonight the system is turned off and final. Tomorrow morning I will create all final startlists and they will be posted as PDF files on this site for you to print out and take with you. Like last year we will be trying to conserve on paper, money and labor by not printing startlists or results other than what we absolutely need for starters, Technical Supervisors, coaches, etc. They will be posted for everyone to see and available at all times on the website as well. Make sure you print them and take them with you if you want to have a copy for yourself!
Also, Open Class prize money has been determined and is posted here.
For those interested in attending the Annual USASA Executive Board Meeting (open to anyone), here is the proposed agenda.

3/22/08 Added a ton of info tonight. Check out the General Information section for lots of details and the Daily Schedule for a nice one pager to print out with everything going on at Copper during the week.
Also, Copper asked to add another Model Release form for everyone to sign and hand in at Registration along with the Liability Waiver.
To save time at check-in, please download the Copper Mountain Waivers now, print them out, fill them out and bring them with you or send them with your child! By registering online you have already agreed to the USASA waiver but the Copper waivers are required so don't forget to do this. If you don't do it now you will need to be at check-in to sign the waivers for your kids if they are under 18. Do it. Download them. Do it.
Copper Mountain Liability Waiver 84.42 Kb
copper Model Release 103.92 Kb
3/19/08 Nationals is filling up fast. As of last night we already have more members registered for Nationals than last year and we still have a whole week left for registration! Finally slowing down enough here to get some more information posted here on the site, so make sure you check it all out. A bunch of important things like Saturday's practice schedule , Copper Mountain Athlete Expectations and a schedule of Forums being held during the week. I also put together a quick "Venue Map" to show roughly where the events will be held on the mountain.
More to come...
