New Hampshire Series

Hey Everyrone:
Let's Celebrate 209 NH members this year, not to bad for this economy.
57Riders competed at the Nationals
17 Podium Finishes
53 Top 10 finishes

Dave Paulger finsihed 4th in Overall, Caleb and Wyatt Kern both finished 6th in Overall. Awesome!!
Chuckie Carbonie earned 2 gold and 1 bronze - Helmets off to her, she's earned it.
Alex Obregon got a gold and a silver,Kudos to Alex!
Ben Chapin earned a silver and a bronze pushing the limits to the finish line.
Two new ski members made it to the podium, Chris Caulder and Bianca Marcello, great job!

Not to mention, Dave Paulger promised to shave his go-tee if he earned a gold and he did both!

Hope to have all of you and more out at Copper next year representing New Hampshire, Thank you to everyone for making it such a great season, looking forward to a better one next year.

I'm working on the schedule and have taken into consideration all the mountain requests. We will see who gets back to me first with dates. I already have 2 HP, 1 SS and a GS/Sla at Loon and a SS at Sunapee scheduled, so stay posted.

To register for  the events on line, you go to usasa.org, then to the event icon (don't go to NH region), then You choose NH region and all of our events will come up.From there click on the shaded spot to the right of the chosen event; I will be adding the Ragged events but the waiver will not be there. If you will not be attending with your child send a written note and contact me so if I do have one I will email it to you.


8.Remember, refunds are for extreme situations only, at our discretion.
As of 1/31/10 there will be a refund
 processing fee of $20.00.

Series Background

The NH Series has been alive and well going on the 10th season. We appreciate all the help we get from the sponsors, volunteers, parents, mountains and riders.

Competitor Information

  • All riders must register with USASA ahead, and provide proof of membership at registration.You will be receiving a card and a rulebook once you register.
  • Helmets are required for all Events, that goes for competitors and forerunners.
  • The New Hampshire Snowboard Series will hold approximarely 18 competitions and qualify riders for the USASA National Championships in Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Boardercross, Slalom and Giant Slalom.
  • To recieve a discount for having a season pass you must submit the pre reg form by 12/1/09. The cost will be $35.for single events and $55 for double.
  • Online registration will be $50. per event and must be in by Friday prior to the event. Same day entries $75.
  • All Freestyle events are judged, best run of two. All Alpine events are Combined time.
  • SS will best 3 count out of 4, HP,BX and Alpine best 2 count out of 3 towards natonals.
  • Once you enter in Open Class, you are there for the year, no going back and forth, its in the rule book.


How do I Qualify for the Nationals?

The rules for national qualification have changed a little from last year.Please read up on the rule book for all of the specifics.


Event Information

  • Registration and check in times are 7:30-8:45 am.
  • Each rider will arrive and get a waiver to sign then check in to hand in waiver and recieve bib. If you need a waiver ahead to fill out and send in with your child email me and I will email you back one to print and then send with the child.
  • All bibs will be collected at the end of event to use in bib raffle. If you are not present at the raffle you will not be eligible for a prize.

Results

Notices For Coaches

All Coaches must be registered USASA members at the same cost that competitors pay.

No Mom and Dad discount tickets will be available. If you would like to volunteer to help at one of the events you must notify us ahead of time so that we can make the proper arrangements and have a position for you to fill that day. Under this situation a Comp pass will be made available if needed. We encourage parent participation the kids really love to see you out there involved, and Thanks for all that you already do.
